This deeply tactile and storytelling installation brings a rich, artisanal, and grounded energy to any modern space. The artwork beautifully mimics the look of a stylized, aerial landscape or a rhythmic crop harvest, displaying an incredible variety of textures. On the left, the sage-grey blocks are finely lined like raked soil, dotted with small porcelain wings that look like sprouting seeds or passing birds.
The central and right sections transition into heavily textured, dark cocoa blocks covered in hundreds of tiny, hand-sculpted buds, alongside sandy cream tiles etched with geometric crop lines and circular seed pods. Trailing out from the main grid is a fluid path of loose ceramic dots that extend the piece across the wall, making it feel alive and in motion. Technique: High-relief modular mosaic sculpting; individual square, rectangular, and angular tiles are intricately hand-carved, stamped with dense seed-like patterns, or combed to create deep textures. These are grouped into a central cluster, flanked on both sides by an arched stream of individual clay pegs attached directly to the wall surface.
