This cozy wall installation feels like a warm hug for your room. It features a collection of four framed panels filled with thick, soft wool that looks like puffy summer clouds or rolling hills. The artist used different weaving styles to create “bumpy” and “flat” areas, giving the piece a fun, 3D look that you almost want to reach out and touch.
A thin, dark cord winds through each frame like a river, connecting the different pieces together. Set in simple light-wood frames, this artwork brings a soft, handmade, and earthy feel to any modern space.
Medium: Natural textile fibers (Organic chunky wool roving, cotton warp, and twisted fiber rope)
Technique: Hand-loomed tapestry weaving and “piling” to create high-relief, bubbly textures
Finish: Natural, soft matte finish with raw fiber textures in cream, oatmeal, and charcoal tones
Form: A four-piece multi-panel set (one vertical and three square frames) featuring flowing, landscape-inspired patterns
